Overview I'm an Assistant Professor in the Biomedical Informatics Center, Department of Public Health Sciences, School of Medicine. My research focuses on the development of a social network website for family health history (ItRunsInMyFamily.com) and clinical decision support (CDS) for genomic information. I also lead research and development efforts related to telehealth (Doxy.me). I'm involved with supporting clinical research studies using informatics approaches, including integrating study workflows with Epic, developing a novel approach to biobanking which leverage many informatics tools, and the novel use of telemedicine to recruit and consent research participants (teleconsent).
