    Tammy Loucks is Associate Professor of Academic Affairs and Science Development Officer for the South Carolina Clinical and Translational Research (SCTR) Institute based at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She is responsible for scientific and grant development
    activities for SCTR.

    Prior to joining MUSC in 2018, Loucks was Assistant Professor and Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs and Academic Programs for the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University. She has more than 25 years of experience conducting clinical and translational research and developing and administering research, training, and faculty development programs in academic health sciences centers.

    Loucks earned a Master and Doctor of Public Health in epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the Pennsylvania State University.
